Pardon the pun there!
I have completed my challenge of a year of handmade gifts – 36 in total! I’ve made a collage to refresh my memory:
I’m glad I was successful, admittedly there were a few small store bought gifts here and there, mainly for birthday parties that Hamish and Izzy attended, I didn’t realise how many of those add up in a year! But I did manage all of the nephews and nieces which was fantastic.
I still have lots of ideas, so I’m sure there will be more handmade gifts next year too. I do love to sew with a purpose, but looking forward to finishing a few of my own projects off next year that were put on the back burner
If you are every searching the internet for handmade gift ideas you must visit Sew, Mama, Sew. Every year around November they put together fantastic lists for handmade gift ideas that cover all types of people (mainly sewing related though). You can search through lists of years past as well. Here is a link to the 2011 list, the 2012 list was in progress when I wrote this.
I hope you’ve enjoyed following this challenge too, and thanks for stopping by to read my little blog this year, and I will see you in 2013!
Happy New Year

They are delightful and fun to look at.
BEAUTIFUL work! And I’m sure each and everyone is cherished. Happy New Year!
