I was a bit of a geek while on our trip and I saved all of our tickets and any other interesting pieces of paper with no real idea in mind as to how I was going to use them when we got home.

I played around with a few ideas this week, but finally settled on using them to cover the mats of a set of 3 frames I already had. I did have to remove some old photos of the kids, much to Izzy’s disgust!!

It was a pretty simple process, I glued the tickets etc. to the back-side of the mat (that way when I am sick of it one day I can just turn it back around the right way), and finished it off with a couple of coats of Mod Podge.

Now I just need to decide on 3 photos from our trip to enlarge and fill the frame! I’m thinking black & white will be the way to go….
